Labour Village Announced!

This year, the May Day Organizing Committee is proud to present the Labour Village! This family-friendly event will be held at the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation Hall in Windsor at 547 Victoria Ave. The Village will open at 6pm and close at 8pm.

What’s a Labour Village? We’re glad you asked! The Labour Village will transport people back through time. In the town square, groups will be performing dramatic scenes recounting famous parts of labour history. Non-profit organizations will set up booths to outreach to the community, and vendors will be present selling their wares. All the while, the spirit of working people will be kept alive!
