For immediate release,
May Day 2014 will reinvent how we view labour
April 24th, 2014
[Windsor, ON] On May 1st, crowds will gather in downtown Windsor to remember and relive the past struggles of workers in the context of today. International Workers’ Day will begin with the March for our Rights from the Art Gallery of Windsor at 4:30pm and will conclude with a historical Labour Village open from 6-8pm at the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation union hall at 547 Victoria Ave.
“We think this year’s May Day will be the family event of the season,” says Ian Clough, an organizer with May Day. “There will be performances, displays, and fun for the whole family at the Labour Village.”
