Planning for May Day 2013 is in full swing! This year’s event will be held on historic Drouillard Rd., beginning at Riverside Dr. at 5pm on Wednesday, May 1st.
With a growing agenda of austerity and full-fledged attacks on working people, the May Day Planning Committee is hosting a “living museum” to showcase re-enactments of famous labour actions. The entire Windsor community is invited to come out and participate in historic strikes and struggles that won the workers’ rights we have today. Look to the past! Fight for the future!
Spots for re-enactments are still open! If your organization would like to perform a re-enactment on May Day, please contact the planning committee at may1windsor at gmail.com
Food and beverages will follow the march, along with live entertainment.
